A Grand Canyon, indeed.

A helicopter ride was the best way to see the western end of the Grand Canyon. We were in a position to at least see more of it at a time. However, to try to absorb the sight mentally was impossible; it was so magnificent.



This glass deck built out from the canyon wall called the "skywalk" is owned by the Hualapai Indian Nation. This glass deck sticks out 70' from the side of the canyon and 4000' above the canyon floor. Standard price is $90 per person and no refunds for those who chicken out. We didn't go to the skywalk but we took some pics from our chopper. See the pic above for a closeup and the pic below for an idea of the scale of things.
