He found leaves

He tried to feed Candy dandilions

The brown-headed cowbirds and red-winged blackbirds have taken over my feeders, but I don't have the heart to run them off. The red-winged males are especially handsome with their colorful shoulder patches.
This is why I have to constantly refill my satellite dish feeders. These guys make a really big mess, but nothing goes to waste because a lot of birds like to feed on the ground. The mourning doves are especially fond of feeding on the ground below these feeders.
The indigo buntings like to hop around below the dish feeders as well. These guys really standout when feeding in a flock of blackbirds. There must have been 6 or 7 in my backyard today.
But that is not to say buntings are opposed to eating at the feeders. They were all over the place today--on the ground and at the feeders.
I created this card using Paisley Cartridge and the sentiment was a sticker I had in my stash. The paper for this card is DCWV and I really love their paper. I have been wanting to make something combining these colors for a while, but just couldn't decide on what. This card will be entered in several challenges for this week.
I created this card using Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge too. I think I got a little carried away with Hello Kitty this week, but it was fun! The sentiment is from Stamabilities and the ribbon was some ribbon left over from Tabitha's wedding programs. The ribbon didn't show up very well in the picture, it looks better on the card itself. I will be entering this card in several challenges for this week.
I created this card using Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge and the sentiment is a Stampabilities stamp. You can't tell in the picture but I used beads for the ends of the umbrella. I also outlined the clouds using Stickles. The ribbon is just regular white craft ribbon I don't remember where it came from, it was just part of my never ending stash. I will be entering this card in several challenges for this week.
